Role: Android App Tester / QA Tester

NRI Dating is looking for an Android App Tester to help us test and improve our Android dating app. You will work closely with our development team to identify bugs, usability problems and unexpected behaviour before new features and updates are released to users.

This is a hands-on testing role. We are looking for someone who enjoys trying to break things, investigating unusual behaviour and clearly explaining exactly how a problem can be reproduced.

What You'll Do
Test new Android features and releases before they go live.
Perform functional, regression, usability and exploratory testing.
Test account registration, login and profile creation.
Test profile discovery, search and matching features.
Test messaging, notifications and real-time functionality.
Test photo uploads, permissions and privacy features.
Test Google Sign-In, phone verification and other authentication flows.
Test in-app purchases, coin balances and payment-related user journeys.
Test the app across different Android versions, screen sizes and devices.
Check behaviour under poor connectivity, mobile data, Wi-Fi and interrupted connections.
Identify crashes, UI problems, performance issues and edge cases.
Provide clear bug reports with screenshots, screen recordings, device details and reproducible steps.
Retest fixes and confirm that resolved issues have not introduced regressions elsewhere.
Give practical feedback on the overall user experience.
What We're Looking For
Experience testing Android applications.
Good understanding of Android devices, permissions and common platform behaviour.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to reproduce problems consistently and document them clearly.
Comfortable installing test builds and participating in Google Play testing releases.
Able to distinguish between a genuine software bug, device-specific behaviour and usability issues.
Good written communication skills.
Comfortable testing a dating and relationship-focused application.
Useful but Not Essential
